@Milton Keynes Basketball Association

  • We provide the community with an accessible opportunity to experience the fundamentals of basketball, and to learn more about and gain enjoyment from this exciting sport.

  • We help participants develop skills in areas such as teamwork, leadership, fitness and confidence.

  • We work with attendees to set goals for improvement and understand the growth that comes from successfully achieving these.

  • We provide motivation to encourage members of the community to participate in physical exercise and to promote and develop an outstanding basketball experience for all participants in our region.

  • We place an emphasis on ‘excellence with enjoyment’ at all levels of play.

  • We have been doing all these since 2002.

MK Knights

MK Knights

With a long success history, MK Knights are getting stronger each season. We have been representing our club in Northants Basketball League (NBL) for over 10 years and achieved a lot to be proud off.

2023/24 Season, we joined up forces with Brackley Warriors and created Brackley Knights team. Taking part in Northants League Div1 competition.

We also have a team in Div2 South competition MK Knights & Ladies - our first ever mixed team !

2019/20 MK Knights First Team finished the season as runners-up and our second team also did have a great first half but play-offs and cup games cancelled as the league had to end earlier expected due to Covid crisis...We are all hoping for a better "next season"...whenever that might be
2018/19 season has been added to our successful history...first team winning both the league and the league cup finals brining home the trophies and cups.
We are now looking forward to the 2019/2020 season!

2017/18 season was one of the best to remember for a long time for each of our teams, especially Div1 team who completed the season with 100% winning record.
MK Knights (1st team) comfortably won the NBL Div1 and reached the League Cup Finals where we played against very young, dynamic and full of energy Barons (University of Buckingham)
MK Knighs 2nd team took part in Div2 of NBL and played in the plate finals - sadly lost against hard working Wellingborough Fire team.
MK Knights also took part in the Oxford league this season, first time. We won more games than we lost and reached Oxford League Cup Finals - didn't win it this time but we can fix that next season !
