Milton Keynes Basketball Club brings the exciting and dynamic sport of
basketball to the community in our region with great enthusiasm, commitment and
integrity.
What we aim to achieve:
Milton Keynes Basketball provides the community with
an accessible opportunity to experience the fundamentals of basketball,
and to learn more about and gain enjoyment from this exciting sport.
Our club works to develop participants’ skills in areas such as teamwork,
leadership, fitness and confidence.
We work with attendees to set goals for improvement and understand the growth
that comes from successfully achieving these.
We provide motivation to encourage members of the community to participate in physical exercise and to promote and develop an outstanding basketball experience for all participants in our region.
We place an emphasis on ‘excellence with enjoyment’ at all levels of play.
We also work closely with
Shenley Basketball Club
Community Basketball club based at Shenley Leisure Centre. They cater for ages
6 to 18 and have thriving teams at U11, U13, U15, U17 and Girls Playing in the
Bucks League.

Milton Keynes Basketball club includes the following groups/teams:

Fundamentals and fitness – an inspiring group and training environment aimed at improving fitness and well being; producing and guiding players of all levels toward personal and competitive success

Women's team - MK Ladiez - the ladies senior league team (Northants Women’s League Champions 2005-2006) aim to challenge for future success in both the Northants and Oxfordshire Leagues.

Men's team - MK Knights - continue their positive achievements and results following this, their first competitive season in the Northants Men’s League.

Youth team (U17s/U13s) - MK Speederz following our open day on June 10th 2007 we look forward to beginning a training programme devoted to younger people catering for girls and boys aged between 10 and 17.
Enthusiastic voluntary coaches aim to get the best out of their players whilst ensuring that all members benefit from and enjoy their experience of basketball.
